Yes! Chiropractic care is good at keeping joints moving as normally as possible. When someone has a scoliosis, their joints are not lined up the way they are supposed to be, which causes them to move abnormally. This can cause the joints to wear out faster than normal. With Chiropractic care, the joints move closer to normal, and it minimizes the extra wear and tear on the joints you would normally see with a scoliosis. While Chiropractic care will not FIX a scoliosis, it will help to manage the pain and stiffness associated with a scoliosis and reduce the progression of the curve that can come from joint degeneration.
